Brother Mtokufa Ngwenya convened his first Leadership Retreat at Rossville Elementary School in Rosedale, MD, where he elaborated on his vision for the District through the R.A.C.E. Framework:

  • Retention: Launching targeted fellowship and reclamation events across the District to deepen Brotherhood

  • Accountability: Clarifying roles, responsibilities, and MAAC’s structure to ensure every Brother has a voice

  • Communication: Improving access to information through email, GroupMe, newsletters, and simplifying how we keep you updated

  • Efficiency: Streamlining timelines, event calendars, and digital communications so it’s easier to engage and easier for us to serve you

Brothers from Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, DC participated in small group breakout sessions, where committee leaders discussed strategies to apply the R.A.C.E. principles within their respective areas.

True to the spirit of "Efficiency," the meeting concluded ahead of schedule, allowing brothers to enjoy continued fellowship at the home of Executive Director Brother Ron Wooden.
