Message from the District VI Director

Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Association of Alpha Phi Alpha Chapters (MAAC) website. The MAAC (District VI) is one of seven districts in the Eastern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The district is comprised of thirty (30) College and Alumni Chapters located in Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia. We give emphasis to the fraternity’s motto, "First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All."

The mission of MAAC is to provide the Brotherhood (1) comprehensive training to improve the operational functions of Chapters, and (2) support and guidance to execute the mission statement of the fraternity for the betterment of our communities. Our theme this fraternal year is "Alpha in the Next Century: Academic Excellence, Brotherhood, Committed Service and Effective Leadership."

The MAAC hosts a fall and spring staff meeting and a conference yearly for the purpose of information sharing and the strengthening of the Brotherhood.
